So we got a dog about five months ago and I am finally blogging about it! She is our pride and joy. Her name is Nala (from the Lion King). I am really surprised to find out how many people do not know where her name is from. Isn't the Lion King a classic!?!

She is getting so big so fast! We love her to death, even when she wakes us up a 2 in the morning to go potty. At least she is potty trained, right? She is a whiner though. She whines about everything. Right now she is whining because her bone won't stay in one spot as she chews on it! We got to get her to stop whining it drives me nuts :) She is a ton of fun though and she gets really spoiled!

Okay this isn't Nala this is Eric's family's dog, but I thought it was cute enough to share. He was ready for thanksgiving dinner.
Nala's first snow! She loved it. She would make a snow ball with her nose and throw it in the air and then go chase after it. She never found it though :)

It thought this was so funny. That bone is bigger then she is!!

SCHOOL has definitly STARTED!!!

I finished The Iliad today! Holy cow I still can not believe I did it. 614 pages in three weeks! Well I must say most of the time I was just listening to it on tape, but I got through it all! What an accomplishment. That baby is going on my shelf, no way am I selling it back for a couple of bucks!

Other then that school is so crazy! I am working 20 hours and I am taking 14 credits. Out of control! The job I have was supposed to be an easy job, but somehow I was unofficially put into the position of "training everyone in the office" There are 5 new people and I am training them all. Good news though Mike, Eric's brother, is working in the afternoon so I relay on him a lot to get things done.

Eric is working 20 hours and is taking 13 or 14 credits. Either his load is lighter then mine or he just can handle stress A LOT better then me. I am betting on the latter. He is amazing. He is still working in the cell phone office which he is enjoying very much.

Our first summer together!

This summer was a great one. We were able to visit my family in San Diego and Eric's famliy stayed with us in Provo for a couple of weeks.

It was great to see my family in San Diego. We were able to go to the zoo, Padres game twice, the beach, and just spend time with family! It was such a great trip. The zoo was great. I am a huge animal lover so I love seeing all the wonderful animals, but my sister Angie wasn't impressed :)
I love the atmosphere at baseball games, the peanuts, hot dogs, and the game. My sister was lucky enough to catch a foul ball and we had a great time. I loved seeing Eric out in the freezing ocean boogie boarding, surfing and body surfing like he has done it his whole life.

Eric's family staying with us was lots of fun. We had Gary, Aaron, Jeffery, and Emily all in our living room. We went to two different water parks, hiked to the Y, celebrated Pioneer day, and just hung out. They were very entertaining :) We loved having them with us for the time they were here and missed them when they left!

May 2, 2009 was our wedding day. What a great day it was! We had so many family and friends there to support us. We thank you all so much for all the love! We were blessed with rain that day so it was fun trying to hide from it during our pictures. I heard that it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. We have had that luck so far for sure.
